What Is Crypto Staking?
Staking involves locking cryptocurrency in a Proof of Stake network to help validate transactions. In return, stakers earn rewards — new tokens issued by the protocol as payment for securing the network. It is the crypto equivalent of earning interest, but the yield comes from network inflation rather than lending.
